SFPD Internet Crimes Against Children Arrest Suspect in Child Pornography Distribution

In May 2016 the SFPD Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit became aware of an individual who was distributing child pornography through the internet. During the investigation the suspect was identified as forty-seven year old, San Francisco resident, Nels Jensen. On August 23, 2016, investigators executed a search warrant at Jensen’s residence. While conducting the search, investigators located a cell phone and tablet belonging to Jensen, which contained hundreds of child pornography videos and images. Investigators found videos depicting children as young as four years old. Jensen was placed under arrest and booked into the San Francisco County Jail. Jensen was charged with felony counts of possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, possession of over 600 files of child pornography, and misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine.
