SFPD Homicide Investigators Make Third Arrest in West Point-Middle Point Homicide

On June 24, 2013, at 1:00 PM, a 19 male victim was sitting with a 17 year old female victim at a bus stop at Middle Point Road and West Point Road when they were shot. The male died from gunshot wounds. The female victim was rushed to the hospital and survived.

On August 21, 2013, San Francisco Police Homicide Investigators arrested a third suspect, Lee Sullivan, 22, of San Francisco. He has been charged with murder.

Previously, on June 25, 2013, San Francisco Police Homicide Investigators arrested Derrick Hunter, 20, of San Francisco and a 14 year old male juvenile, of San Francisco in connection with the murder. At this time all three suspects have been charged with murder.

The investigation was a coordinated effort of the Homicide Unit, Gang Task Force, the Criminal Investigations Unit and support from patrol officers at the Bayview District Police Station. Each of these units contributed a vital support role to a successful investigation and arrest.

The San Francisco Police Department is continuing to investigate what may have lead to the shooting or if anyone else was involved in the attack.
