SFPD Arrests Northern District Homicide Suspects 22-087(a)
On June 30, 2022, at approximately 9:16 p.m., San Francisco Police Officers assigned to Northern Station responded to the 400 block of Rose Street on a report of a shooting.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 20-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers rendered medical aid and summoned medics to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite the efforts of officers at the scene and medical personnel, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
This investigation is being led by the SFPD Homicide Detail. Through the course of the investigation, investigators identified two suspects, a 35-year-old male, Kameron Kaywood, and a 25-year-old male, Delvon Carter. Investigators developed probable cause to obtain no-bail arrest warrants in violation of homicide (187(a)(1) PC) for Kaywood and Carter.
On June 28, 2023, investigators discovered Kaywood was in custody in Contra Costa County on an unrelated incident and the warrant detainer was placed on him for this Rose Street homicide.
On July 19, 2023, SFPD officers located Carter and detained him in South San Francisco without incident. Carter was transported to San Francisco County Jail where he was booked for the homicide arrest warrant.
