On December 12, 2024, San Francisco police made a total of 11 felony arrests while seizing narcotics during a one-day, multi-agency law enforcement operation in the Tenderloin, surrounding areas and from search warrants.

“Our officers will continue to make arrests and hold individuals committing crimes accountable for their actions,” Chief Scott said. “I truly appreciate our hard-working officers and our city partners for their commitment to this effort.”

The operation, which occurred throughout the day, was an enforcement operation that is part of the city’s Drug Market Agency Coordination Center. Officers seized over 1,400 grams of narcotics including fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, salt cocaine, and base cocaine.

Thursday’s operation included the San Franciso Sherriff’s Office, SFPD officers from the Narcotics Unit, Tenderloin Plainclothes Team, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and SFPD K-9 “Cooper.”

The SFPD would like to thank the assistance of the San Franciso Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) who were instrumental in this investigation. The SFPD will continue to prioritize efforts in taking wanted suspects off our streets and to hold individuals accountable to make streets safer and to save lives.
