SFPD Arrest Suspect in September 23 Homicide

San Francisco Police have arrested the suspect in a homicide that occurred on September 23 at approximately 9:50 P.M. On September 24, Nikhom Thephakaysone, 30, of San Francisco, was taken into custody without incident outside of his residence in the Oceanview District.

The victim, a 20-year-old San Francisco resident was shot and killed after he got off an eastbound Muni LRV at Randolph and Bright Streets.

The investigation led to the identification of Thephakaysone as the suspect. He has been charged with homicide and remains in custody.
