SFPD Arrest Prolific Bank Robbery Suspect

The San Francisco Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit arrested Frederick Black, 38 years old of San Francisco for multiple bank robberies in The City. Black was located by officers in the Mid Market area and was arrested on December 27th, 2014.

Black was arrested for outstanding warrants and the bank robbery of a credit union which took place on November 26th, 2014. The diligent investigation led to charges in a total of ten bank robberies. The majority of the banks were located in the Financial District of San Francisco.
