San Francisco Police Investigate Golden Gate Avenue Homicide 21-182

On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at approximately 3:26 a.m., San Francisco Police officers from Tenderloin Station responded to the 300 block of Golden Gate Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located a 61-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of emergency responders and medical staff the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased in the hospital. Officers located a second victim, a 31-year-old female, who sustained a non-life-threatening injury from glass that was broken during the incident. Preliminarily investigators believe an unknown suspect fired a gun into the business from the street and fled the scene.
