San Francisco Police Department Investigates Ingleside District Homicide 22-095

On July 25, 2022, at approximately 12:09 PM, San Francisco Police Officers assigned to Ingleside Station responded to the area of Mansell Street and John F Shelly Drive on a report of a person possibly suffering from a gunshot wound.  

Officers arrived on scene and were directed to the victim by bystanders. Officers began rendering aid and summoned medical attention. Paramedics from the San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene. Despite life-saving measures by officers from the San Francisco Police and members of the San Francisco Fire Department, the victim succumbed to their injuries at the scene.  

This investigation is being led by the SFPD Homicide Detail.
