Officer Names from the March 21, 2018 Officer Involved Shooting 18-045(c)

It is the San Francisco Police Department’s policy to release the name(s) of the officer(s) directly involved in a shooting within ten days of the incident, provided there are no credible threats against the officers. 

The officers who discharged their firearms in the OIS incident on March 21, 2018 are: 

Kevin Endo #2475, assigned to Field Operations Bureau

Tess Casey #2177, assigned to Field Operations Bureau 

This incident is being investigated by the SFPD Homicide Detail, the SFPD Internal Affairs Division, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, the Department of Police Accountability and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
