SFPD investigators have determined the suspect vehicle make and model
Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department's Traffic Collision Investigation Unit (TCIU) have determined that the suspect vehicle involved in the December 12th fatal hit and run collision at Bush Street and Leavenworth Street is a 2007 to 2008 Honda Fit.
Employees of automotive repair and body shops should be alert for anyone bringing in a dark colored 2007- 2008 Honda Fit with front end damage.
Surveillance video of the suspect and suspect vehicle was released to the public on December 12th.

Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department's Traffic Collision Investigation Unit (TCIU) have released surveillance video from the December 12, 2018 fatal hit and run collision that occurred at Bush Street and Leavenworth Street at approximately 3:25 AM. In that incident, a dark colored car struck a pedestrian. The suspect fled the scene in the car. The pedestrian, a 58 year-old female, San Francisco resident was transported to the hospital where she died.
The video (linked below) depicts the suspect vehicle, a small dark colored car, travels from right to left and stop on the far side of a parked SUV. The suspect driver (who appears to be a female) comes into view, walks to the back of her car and appears to look back down the street. The suspect then returns to her vehicle and drives away.

San Francisco Police Investigate Early Morning Hit and Run Collision
On December 12, 2018 at approximately 3:25 AM, San Francisco Police officers responded to a hit and run at Bush Street and Leavenworth Street.
The preliminary investigation indicates that an adult female was crossing Bush Street at Leavenworth Street when she was struck by a dark colored vehicle. The motorist fled the scene in the vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFGH) where she died.
