$250,000.00 REWARD
The San Francisco Police Department has authorized a $250,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for the forty two year-old murder of Marissa Harvey.
On Monday, March 27, 1978, at approximately 1:30 p.m., 15 year-old Marissa Harvey went to Golden Gate Park in the area of 45th Avenue and Fulton Street to go horseback riding. Marissa, who was visiting from New York and staying with her sister, did not return home..
On Tuesday, March 28, 1978, at approximately 7:51 p.m., SFPD officers responded to 48th Avenue and Anza (Sutro Park) for a report of a dead body. Officers discovered the body of Marissa Harvey. Harvey’s death was ruled a homicide.
