Central Station Newsletter - June 06, 2018

On Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 01:34 AM, Officer Colleen Fitzpatrick and Officer Alexander Anton were on-duty patrolling the area of Broadway and Columbus Avenue. Both officers heard what they recognized to be several shots of gunfire from the 400 block of Broadway. They immediately located a witness who pointed to the suspect who was attempting to flee the scene by getting to his parked car. Officer Anton pursued the suspect and with the assistance of Officer Fitzpatrick, Officer Joshua Cabillo, Officer Jonathan Sylvester, Officer Kevin Stucki, and Officer Patrick Backman he was taken into custody.

The incident began as a physical altercation between several parties in the area.
