Central District Chinatown Community Meeting 17-180
In collaboration with the District 3 Supervisor’s Office and the Safety Awareness For Everyone (SAFE) Organization, the San Francisco Police Department will hold a community meeting regarding safety messages affecting the Chinatown neighborhood. The community meeting will take place on December 4, 2017, from 5:00 PM to 6:30PM, and will be held at the City College of San Francisco, Chinatown Campus.
The following individuals will be present to address any questions and concerns brought forth by the community:
- District 3 Supervisor Aaron Peskin
- Chief of Police William Scott
- Commander David Lazar, Community Engagement Bureau
- Commander Teresa Ewins, Traffic Company & SFMTA
Topics and issues to discuss will include:
- Translated Department Policies
- Video Surveillance Cameras
- Blessing, Internet, and Phone Scams
- Crimes occurring on Muni
- Pedestrian and Traffic Safety
- Updates on recent crime trends and safety issues
