Arrest of City & County Employee

In June of 2014, the San Francisco Police Department began an investigation into Municipal Transportation Authority employee, Osvaldo Lugo, 59, of Lathrop, CA. The investigation was initiated by a complaint from the Municipal Transportation Authority. The investigation into Lugo revealed that he had been using City and County San Francisco gasoline in his personal vehicle for approximately 1 year. The loss to the City is thousands of dollars of gasoline.

Lugo was arrested for grand theft and embezzlement on Friday, September 5, 2014 and booked at San Francisco County Jail. Booking photo of Lugo is attached.
