2013 San Francisco "I Am More Than" Video Contest

To recognize Black History Month, the Teen Forum of the San Francisco Police Department, in conjunction with partner organizations including but not limited to Mo’ Magic, and the Boys and Girls Clubs, have organized a self expression contest for students to address bias and stereotyping. Students will have the opportunity to use their voice, creative artwork, speech, photos and any other creative avenues to express vision.

The contest will begin on February 15, 2013 and will close on April 26, 2013 for final submission of entries. The committee will announce the winners during the “Week of the Child” at a press conference at 6:00 PM on May 17, 2013 at City Hall. San Francisco elected and appointed officials will further recognize the winners at the press conference. The winning video will be displayed on MAGIC Programs website for one year.

The contest is opened to middle school or high school students attending public, private, or home schools of San Francisco.
