$20,000 Violin Taken in Auto Burglary in San Francisco Fillmore District

On November 20, 2015 between the hours of 7:00PM and 9:20PM, a vehicle was broken at a parking lot of the 1300 block of Webster Street.

Taken from the vehicle was a 1795 “George Craske” full size violin, valued between $10,000 to $15,000, a Fedriksson Bow, valued at $4,000, and a hot orange BAM Hightech Slimline violin case, priced at $3,500.

The value of this instrument is not only expensive, but has great sentimental value to the family.
