Ja Han Kim

Raised in San Francisco, Captain Jahan Kim has been with the department for over 29 years. As an officer, he worked at Central, Southern, Park, Tenderloin, and the Tactical Unit. Promoted to sergeant in 2007, he worked at Taraval, Ingleside, and the Tactical Unit. In 2015, Captain Kim was promoted to lieutenant and worked at Bayview Station and the Tactical Unit, where he worked until being promoted to Captain.
