REWARD $100,000 HOMICIDE VICTIM GAYLON SMITH JR. The Mayor’s office has authorized a $100,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the person/s responsible for the murder of Gaylon Smith Jr. Smith, known to his friends as “Seattle” was shot and killed at Lyon and Golden Gate Streets in San Francisco on February 24, 2005. Gaylon leaves behind a mother, father, sister and six children. To date, all possible leads have been followed, but the investigation of this homicide is still ongoing.
