SFPD Conducts Operation to Disrupt Drug Dealing in SOMA District 19-047

On Thursday April 11, 2019 officers from SFPD’s Southern Station conducted an operation aimed at disrupting drug sales in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood. At approximately 2:00PM officers began a surveillance operation near the intersection of Mission Street and 8th Street and observed multiple hand-to-hand drug transactions

The operation resulted in the arrest of 19 year-old Jeison Mayorquin of San Francisco, 47 year-old Sawanna Williams of San Francisco, and a 17 year-old juvenile from Oakland.

Mayorquin and Williams were booked at San Francisco County Jail on charges of: transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of cocaine for sale, possession of methamphetamine for sale, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

The 17 year-old juvenile was booked at the San Francisco County Juvenile Justice Center on an outstanding warrant, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of cocaine for sales, possession of methamphetamine for sale, accessory after the fact, resisting arrest and committing a felony while a ward of the court. A fourth subject was cited and released at scene for possession of a controlled substance and loitering with the intent to use or sell a controlled substance.
