SFPD Investigates Park District Homicide 23-115

On September 17, 2023, at approximately 2:03 a.m., San Francisco Police Officers from Park District responded to the 500 block of Twin Peaks Blvd. regarding a shooting. SFPD officers arrived on scene and located a 19-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene who transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  

Despite lifesaving efforts made by hospital medical staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.  

The SFPD Homicide Detail is leading the investigation. No arrest has been made at this time.
