San Francisco Police Identify Suspect in Nob Hill Homicide

San Francisco police identified Waheed Kesmatyer, 24, in the brutal homicide of Jack Baker.  Mr. Baker was found deceased inside his residence on the 1000 block of Bush Street on February 11, 2011.  Based on evidence obtained at the scene, San Francisco police have arrested Kesmatyer as the suspect. 


Kestmatyer is currently in custody in Marin County on an unrelated charge.  An arrest warrant has been placed on Kestmatyer for the homicide.  Kestmatyer is awaiting extradition to San Francisco County Jail.
