Now Accepting Applications from High School Students
Spring Session begins on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Summer Session begins on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Who: All San Francisco High School Students are welcome and encouraged to attend. (Students must maintain a G.P.A. of 2.0.)
What: The Youth Community Police Academy is a ten week program for all San Francisco high school students to learn about the San Francisco Police Department. The program covers emergency communication, first aid, crime scene investigation, arrest and control techniques and so much more. All courses are hands-on.

Why: To learn, experience and understand some of what San Francisco police officer do.
Apply early, seating is limited to 30 students and is based on a first come first serve basis. Applications are online
