On Tuesday, November 25th, 2008, at 12:59 AM, a homicide occurred on the 400 block of Broadway St. The victim, (Richard Barrett), a 29 year old male was standing on Kearny St. near Broadway when he was attacked by two black males. The men threw Barrett against a wall and grabbed a gold necklace and medallion that Barrett was wearing around his neck. Barrett was able to break free from the two assailants and run into a bar, located on the corner of Broadway and Kearny. Barrett was at the doorway of the Bar when one of the black males shot him twice in the back. Barrett ran into the bar, collapsed on the floor and died.

Barrett's necklace and medallion were missing from his body.

The necklace consists of heavy white gold and the medallion, pictured above is the cartoon character Bam Bam and consists of numerous colored diamonds.

SUSPECT #1: BM, 25-30 years, 5'8 , 170 lbs, black hoodie with white lettering.

SUSPECT #2: BM, 20-25 years, 5'8 -5'11 , dark clothing.
