SFPD Seek Public's Assistance in Locating Assault Suspect
San Francisco police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect in a brutal attack that occurred on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Union and Buchanan streets at 1:00 AM. In this unprovoked incident, the suspect assaulted the victim with a knife, causing severe lacerations to the victim’s arms. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he underwent surgery to repair nerve damage caused by this vicious attack. The victim has since been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male adult between the ages of 20 and 30. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. The suspect has closely shaved hair and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
