SFPD Makes Arrest in Dog Fighting Case
Need help locating the two dogs pictured below:
Suspects still outstanding:
During an investigation, the San Francisco Police Department obtained several videos. One of the videos shows two dogs of the pit bull breed being goaded into fighting as bystanders look on and cheer. This fight appears to have occurred on public housing property in San Francisco.
Arrested in this case:
-Ed Perkins, 23 years of age from San Francisco. He is being charged with: owning, possessing, or training a dog with the intent the dog will be engaged in an exhibition of fighting with another dog; causing a dog to fight with another dog for amusement or gain; cruelty to an animal; participation in a criminal street gang, and conspiracy.
-Jermaine Jackson, 24 years old from San Francisco. He is being charged with being present as a spectator.
One suspect is outstanding with a felony warrant in this case.
SFPD is working to identify additional individuals involved in this case, and we are attempting to locate the dogs depicted in the video.
