Subject: POLICE SEEK INFORMATION IS SEXUAL MOLESTATION CASES
San Francisco police are looking for persons who have information regarding a sexual predator who may be responsible for a series of sexual assaults on male juvenile student victims. The first case occurred on April 24, 2003 when the suspect identified himself as a private investigator as the student got off a bus at Francisco Street and Van Ness Avenue at about 1:00 P.M. The suspect told his victim that he was investigating the sexual assault of a female student. The suspect lured the boy to a secluded area by an apartment complex and groped him under the guise of conducting an investigatory search for drugs and weapons. The suspect then sexually assaulted the student. The suspect has never supplied any police or private investigator identification.
The suspect may have committed other similar sexual assaults, including another one in San Francisco and one in Pacifica.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’ 7”, 250 lbs., 35-40 years old, with a gray-and-black beard. He was last seen wearing black sunglasses, beige fisherman’s hat, blue button-down shirt, beige vest, dark jeans and construction-style boots.
Persons with information about these incidents, or similar ones, are urged to contact SFPD Inspector Sidney D. Laws, 553-1361 during business hours, or the Operations Center,
553-1071, after hours.
