Two additional suspects in the October 4, 2009 homicide of a Louisiana tourist have been arrested. Taken into custody late Wednesday night in Antioch, California, were Lance Molina, 23, and Ariael Kittles, 21. They were arrested by members of the San Francisco Police Department working with members of the Antioch Police Department. Molina and Kittles were arrested without incident.
Five subjects have now been arrested in conjunction with the murder of Michael Bailey, 26, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was one of three men lured by Kittles to the Double Rock Court area of the Alice Griffith Housing Development, where the robbery was committed by Kittles, William Jones, Lance Molina, Kenya Moore, and a 17-year-old male juvenile. Bailey and two male companions were ordered at gunpoint out of their rental vehicle, forced to lie on the ground, and beaten and robbed of their personal belongings. Bailey was shot and killed during the robbery.
Michael Bailey is survived by his wife and three children. Recently, Southern University of Baton Rouge posthumously presented his family with his undergraduate degree. He was in his senior year studying electrical engineering at the college at the time of his death.
