Subject:     San Francisco Police Join With Mothers Of Military Service Members In Donation Drive

Members of the San Francisco Police Department Police Officers Association will be assisting Mothers of Military Service Members (MOMS) to load donations for overseas military personnel gathered through the  POA’s second annual Holiday Santa Drive Wednesday, December 21, at the former POa headquarters, 510 7th Street, at 11:00 A.M.

The San Francisco POA has been working continuously with MOMS in acquiring necessary small items, including toiletries, food items, and games for American troops stationed abroad.  Representatives from MOMS pick up the items, assembled into care packages, which MOMS ships overseas.  Since the program’s founding in 2003,  MOMS has shipped over 14,000 lbs. of items donated by officers and the public.
