Subject:           600 SF Students to Join Police Cheif Fagan to See Disney's "Young Black Stallion" Saturday

Mayor Willie Brown, Police Chief Alex Fagan, and members of the Juvenile Division will join 600 students from elementary and middle schools from throughout San Francisco for a special IMAX screening of Walt Disney Pictures’ “The Young Black Stallion” on Saturday, December 20 at Loews Theaters, 4th and Mission streets, starting at 10:00 A.M.

Santa Claus will be on hand to distribute a holiday gift to each of the youngsters, there will be a magician, a lunch will be provided and, appropriately enough given the movie playing, the Mounted Unit will be present so the kids can see and touch the police department horses.

This event, made possible through the generosity of Loews Cineplex, gives young people a special day at the movies, as well as providing an opportunity for them to make friends with the officers, and so strengthening community policing in San Francisco.
