Subject: San Francisco Police Arrest 3 Suspects In December Armed Robbery
San Francisco police have arrested three suspects in an armed robbery incident that occurred on 12/12/09. Taken into custody were Darnell Hester 31, Douglas Dennett 20, and Daniel Hester 25. All three are from Concord.
The victim, a taxi driver, was robbed on the 700 block of Arguello St. while he waited for a fare. Two suspects approached the victim and demanded money. One suspect pointed a gun at the victim. The victim handed over his valuables in fear for his life. The suspects fled in a waiting car that was driven by a third suspect. The victim followed the suspect vehicle while he dialed 911. The victim was shot at by the suspects while he followed their vehicle. Responding police officers Perez and Reyes spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. Two suspects, Darnell Hester and Douglas Dennett, were arrested. Two loaded handguns and a stun gun were located inside of the car. A search began for the third suspect who was still at large.
Sergeants Tracy Boes and Scott Warnke identified the third suspect, Daniel Hester, who was arrested three days later in Concord by San Francisco police officers.
All three suspects have been charged with: robbery, attempted homicide, possession of stolen property, and various firearm charges.
