Subject: SFPD Command Staff To Join Fire Chief In Annual Salvation Army Turkey Carving Event November 25

San Francisco Police command staff will join San Francisco Fire Department Chief Joanne Hayes-White in the Salvation Army’s annual Thanksgiving turkey-carving event on Wednesday, November 25, at the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, 1275 Harrison Street between 8th and 9th streets, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M.

The Salvation Army provides food and shelter to the needy each day of the year, but makes a special effort during the holidays. On Thanksgiving Day, the Harbor Light Center delivers hundreds of complete turkey dinners to San Francisco’s needy, elderly, and poor. As part of its community policing policy, the San Francisco Police Department is pleased to participate in this worthy event.
