San Francisco Police arrested a bank robber suspect on Wednesday, November 14. Taken into custody was Adam Verdoux, 36, of South Carolina. Verdoux had gone into the Bank of America at 1 Powell Street at around 3:30 PM and presented a demand note threatening to use a bomb to blow up the bank if his demands were not met. Police arrested him outside the bank after the robbery.
The previous day, Verdoux had attempted to rob the Bank of America at 1455 Stockton Street. He presented a demand note to the teller but left without completing the robbery.
Verdoux is a wanted parole violator out of South Carolina. The District attorney has charged Verdoux as a three-strikes candidate.
