San Francisco Police arrested the suspect in a November 4, 2005 homicide in which the suspect allegedly threw a 51-year-old woman from a sixth-floor window at 155 Hyde Street in a domestic violence dispute. The victim died from her injuries the next day. In that incident, the suspect had been initially arrested but the DA's Office dismissed the case for further investigation.
After the suspect was released, Homicide inspectors continued to investigate the case. Through ongoing interviews, further evidence examination, and DNA testing, police were able to obtain an arrest warrant and took the original suspect, Frank Green, 54, of San Francisco, into custody yesterday, Tuesday, November 7 at 16th and Mission streets at about 6:00 P.M. Green remains in custody on a murder charge.
