SAN FRANCISCO POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN
IDENTIFYING HIT & RUN SUSPECT
San Francisco Police are seeking witnesses in a hit and run, involving a pedestrian that occurred on Wednesday August 04, 2010 at 10:45PM.
In this incident, a 23 year old San Francisco man was struck by a motorist traveling southbound on Van Ness Avenue at Broadway Street. The vehicle continued southbound Van Ness with the pedestrian on the hood, dropping him at Pacific Street and fleeing westbound Pacific towards Franklin Street.
The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with life threatening injuries.
According to witnesses, the suspect vehicle was a 2000 to 2005 black BMW 323 sedan with dark tinted windows.

The vehicle may have noticeable damage to the front end or windshield area resulting from the vehicle collision. Auto repair shops are asked to contact police if anyone brings in a vehicle matching the description with front end or windshield damage.
