The San Francisco Police Department will be holding its graduation ceremony for the 215th Academy Class on Friday, October 26, at Abraham Lincoln High School, 2162 24th Avenue at 6:00 P.M.
The graduates include a former Fire Fighter who relocated from Iowa, an individual originally from West Africa, a former Park Ranger, and a recruit who first became interested in law enforcement while working on the set of Nash Bridges in 1999.
The 44 graduates include 38 men and 6 women. 16 graduates are bilingual. Languages spoken include, Spanish, French, Tagalog, Chinese, Romanian, Portuguese, Arabic, Korean, and Ewe.
The 215th Class began March 26th. Following the graduation, the newly sworn officers will begin a 17-week field-training program at six of the Department's ten district stations.
