A man wanted on an arrest warrant for a murder that occurred in San Francisco was arrested last Saturday, October 16, at about 8:45 P.M. in South San Francisco. South San Francisco police obtained information that, Armando Delao, 30, wanted for the April 13, 2003 murder of Maurice Mathews on Bertha Lane in the Bayview district, was attending a party at a hotel on South Airport Boulevard. Armando Delao was taken into custody at the hotel and transported to San Mateo County Jail, where he remains pending extradition to San Francisco County Jail. Bail had been set at $5 million. Emiliano Delao, 30, the second suspect in the Mathews slaying, remains at large.
