The San Francisco Police Department, in conjunction with the Mayor’s Office’s Operation Ceasefire, will conduct a Gun Buy-Back Program on Saturday, October 11, at 16th and Mission streets from 12 noon to 4:00 P.M.
In an effort to get guns off the streets, the police department will give $150 in cash for each operable gun handed over to the SFPD, no questions asked.
Participants must be San Francisco residents, and are encouraged to bring firearms unloaded in gun cases or in the trunk of their vehicle. There is a maximum of two guns per participant.
