San Francisco Police arrested a 16-year-old suspect fromSan Francisco in a series of four sexual assaults that occurred from September 24 through September 27 in Golden Gate Park during daylight and early evening hours. The suspect was taken into custody yesterday after an undercover police officer located him on a bus on Stanyan Street near Golden Gate Park at approximately 9:00 A.M.

The police department commends each of the victims who reported the incident promptly to police.

Police are asking that anyone else who may have been a witness or a victim of this suspect to contact Lieutenant Dan Leydon or Inspector Yvonne Pratt of the Sex Crimes Unit at 415-553-1361.
