The Office of the Mayor is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a fatal hit and run that occurred Friday, June 13, 2003 at the intersection of Golden Gate Avenue and Hyde Street at about 10:15 P.M. Elizabeth Priyono, 57, of Oakland, died from injuries five days after the collision that occurred as she and her husband were crossing the street in the crosswalk on a green light after having attended a church service. The suspect driver ran through the red light, striking Mrs. Priyono.
The suspect vehicle is a large, black American-made vehicle with dark-tinted windows and chrome wheel rims. The vehicle had four doors and round taillights. The driver of the car was last seen fleeing east on Golden Gate Avenue. The driver was a light-skinned male, with short dark hair and a mustache.
