San Francisco Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect in a shooting that occurred on a Muni bus on September 20 at about 4:10 P.M. In that incident SFPD Bayview police district officers responded to a shooting on the No. 44 bus at the intersection of Silver Avenue and Revere Street. When they arrived they found that a juvenile had been shot multiple times in his right arm and abdomen. SFFD medics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to SFGH.
Police subsequently identified Joseph Gary, 19, as the adult shooter. There is an $800,000 warrant for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. He is considered armed and dangerous.
