San Francisco Police Seek Public's Help In Locating Homicide Suspect

The San Francisco Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating the suspect in a homicide that occurred on September 21 in front of 245 Hyde Street in which the victim, Ralph Ruiz, 59, was stabbed to death.

The suspect is described as a white or Latin male, 50s, 5'5 -5'8 , stocky build, with silver-colored crew-cut hair, mustache and possibly a goatee. He was last seen wearing a blue, pullover hooded sweatshirt and beige pants.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is urged to call Inspectors Richard Martin or John Cleary of the Homicide Detail, 553-1145, or the Operations Center, 553-1071 during non-business hours. Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call the Confidential Tip Line, 415-575-4444.
