San Francisco Police arrested Kevin Seltenrich, 56, in a bank robbery that occurred on Saturday, August 16, at Wells Fargo Bank,1 Montgomery Street, at 3:20 P.M. Based on information provided by a U. S. Marshal arrest warrant for violation of federal probation, police arrested Seltenrich a short while later at a residential hotel on the 400 block of Eddy Street. He was taken into custody without incident.
Seltenrich is also the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred on August 12 at United Commercial Bank on the 700 block of Van Ness Avenue. In both incidents, Seltenrich presented a hold-up note and put the money in a blue shoulder bag before fleeing on foot. There was no weapon in either case.
Seltenrich remains in federal custody.
