San Francisco Police arrested a man in the shooting death that occurred inside the Ella Hill Hutch Recreation Center, 1050 McAllister Street, on April 27 shortly after 5:00 P.M. The victim in that incident, Donte White, was pronounced dead at the scene. Superior Court Judge John Dearborn today signed an arrest warrant for the suspect in that case, Esau Ferdinand, 24, of San Francisco. Police arrested Ferdinand after a traffic stop at Divisadero and Oak streets shortly after two o'clock this afternoon, August 17. Ferdinand has been charged with one count of homicide and remains in custody.
