San Francisco Police arrested two suspects yesterday, August 16, in the shooting death of a 26-year-old man that occurred in 2004. The victim, Eugene Gorenman, of San Francisco, was found shot to death the morning of March 29, 2004 at the Battery Davis area of Fort Funston in San Francisco.
Taken into custody on a District Attorney's Office warrant were Felicia Mehrara, of San Francisco, and Kimberly Gutierrez, of El Sobrante, both 18. At the time of the homicide, both were 16 years old and residents of San Bruno. The third suspect in the case, San Francisco resident Jillian McIlvenna, now 21, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant on May 9, 2005, and has remained in custody since that time.
All three suspects have been charged with homicide, robbery, and possession of a stolen vehicle. Mehrara and Gutierrez are each being held on a $5 million bail and are scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow, Friday, August 18.
