San Francisco Police arrested two suspects in a street robbery series last Wednesday, July 30. Taken into custody July 30 were Aruan Hernandez, 27, and Alexander Izaguirre, 20, both ofSan Francisco.
Hernandez and Izaguirre are the suspects in three robberies that all occurred within an approximately twenty-minute span. In the first incident, which occurred at Bay and Scott streets at approximately 7:30 P.M., the suspects confronted one female victim, 36, stealing her property and knocking them to the pavement before fleeing in an SUV. Minutes later, the suspects robbed a 40-year-old woman at Pierce Street and Capra Way, again fleeing in their vehicle. At approximately 7:50 P.M., on the 2100 block of Pacific Avenue, the suspects robbed a 29-year-old woman, who was struck by the suspects' vehicle as they sped off. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries at the time of the incident.
A description of the suspects was broadcast and Northern Station Street Crimes Unit officers located and arrested the suspects at Bush and Divisadero street at approximately 8:00 P.M., ten minutes after the last robbery. The suspects were charged for multiple counts of robbery and assault.
