On Saturday, June 16, from 7:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M., the California Highway Patrol, in partnership with the San Francisco Police Department, will initiate Operation Impact in the Northern, Park and Tenderloin police districts. Operation Impact will deploy a significant visual police presence to engage in various traffic enforcement. Operation Impact is designed to reduce traffic violation and collisions, and to provide additional police presence, thereby increasing the safety of residents in the community.
