Subject: Evidence Seized In Robbery Cases
The San Francisco Police Department Robbery Section is displaying evidence seized in two recent robbery cases. The Tec9 firearm used by two men responsible for a robbery series on May 26 and May 28, 2004 will be on display. There will also be additional information available regarding the arrest of Dino Smith an April 2003 downtown jewelry heist.
On May 28, 2004 Robbery investigators arrested two men, Darryl Jones and Melvin Danridge, responsible for the street robberies, and Robbery inspectors arrested Smith June 3 in New York.
The inspectors in these cases will be available today only to show the evidence and answer questions about the cases.
