San Francisco Police are seeking the public's help in a homicide that occurred last Saturday, May 31, on Highway 101 North (commonly known as the Central Freeway) on the Mission/Duboce off-ramp at approximately 7:15 P.M. Because of the location and time of the incident, police know that there are witnesses who actually observed the incident or who have some information regarding the incident that would be helpful to investigators. Persons may also have information about the suspect vehicle and its occupants, described below. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Homicide Section, 553-1145, or to call the Confidential Tip Line, 415- 575-4444.
Police have identified a suspect vehicle based on a surveillance photo obtained from video footage along the route just prior to the shooting. The vehicle is a white, mid to late 80's, Nissan or Toyota. The vehicle may be missing a front license plate and may have damage to the left rear trunk area.
There were four suspects in the suspect vehicle:
Suspect #1 African-American male, early 20s, medium build, with a very short natural, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled down, armed with a black handgun.
Suspect #2 Driver, African-American female, 20s.
Suspect #3 Front passenger, African-American female, 20s.
Suspect #4 Rear passenger, passenger side, African-American male, early 20s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.
Photos of the suspect vehicle and the victim's vehicle, a silver Mazda MVP mini-van, are posted on the SFPD's Web site, sfgov.org/police.
