San Francisco Police Chief Heather Fong will join hundreds of San Francisco school children aged five through 12 for a Chief’s Day at the Movies to see the IMAX presentation of Disney’s “Sacred Planet” on Saturday, May 8 at Loews Theaters in the Sony Metreon, Fourth and Mission streets. The day will begin at 9:00 A.M. with the serving of a cake in honor of Loews Theaters’ 100th anniversary. The movie will follow at about 9:45 A.M.
After the movie, at about 11:00 A.M., everyone will board busses to travel to Crissy
Field inside the Presidio for a hike conducted by the National Park Service through this historic area. The outing will conclude about 3:00 P.M.
