San Francisco Police Seek Public's Help In 2006 Hit and Run

San Francisco Police continue to seek the public's help in a 2006 hit and run collision that claimed the life of a visitor from Phoenix, Arizona. On June 24, Mark Craite, 51, was crossing the intersection of Mission and Beale streets at about 2:10 A.M. While in the crosswalk he was struck by the driver of a white Jeep Cherokee. The driver sped off after striking Mr. Craite, who died from his injuries.

There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) responsible for Mr. Craite's death. The reward was issued by the Office of the Mayor and Wells Fargo Bank, for which Mr. Craite worked.
